Recently, the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) conducted an external audit of the COBIS’ Patron’s Accreditation and Compliance scheme, assessing if the well-established quality assurance process is aligned with international best practice.
The QAA commended Patron’s Accreditation and Compliance scheme offers a “bespoke”, non-judgemental development path for schools through non-prescriptive language, that allows schools to express their individuality and tell their story. It found that COBIS matches the needs of the school through self-assessment and the expertise of external Lead Improvement Partners. Plus, the scheme invests in the long-term relationship between the LIP and the school, which results the development of a professional, positive and productive environment for the Accreditation visit.
The analysis found that the scheme was fit for purpose and adds significant value to schools in 7 specific areas. You can read more here: https://lnkd.in/erfy-ct5
