Intensive farming is having a dramatic effect on nature according to a State of Nature report compiled by over 60 NGO’s and charities
Craig Bennett of The Wildlife Trusts endorsed the report.
Our variety of birds and insects are in significant decline.
Intensive Farming methods since tbe 1950’s (used the world over) are now starting to adapt as we understand nature can’t take these methods without dramatically affecting, both nature and our climate. As knowledge of soil and land management improves.
Agronomists working with enable IOT are able for the first time to measure 24/7 365 days of the year how the soils health is adapting.
This essential data gathering, which provides NPK and other impiricle data, means old methods of farming to increase yield can be left in the history books - because farmers and land managers can see day by day what their soil needs and act accordingly. The over use of pesticides and chemicals, now in decline, can be dramatically reduced as soil quality improves, so increasing yield.
For nature this is great news as this shift means insects, birds and other wildlife can live in harmony.
