They said that it can bolster tourism and empower families to stay connected. Approximately 950,000 Punjabis are living in Canada which accounts for roughly 2.6% of Canada's population (as per the 2021 census). As of now, there are no direct flights between Canada and Amritsar, making it tough for travelers to experience a hassle-free journey as they have to make multiple stops which makes their journey "lengthy and arduous".
