The aviation ministry announced on Tuesday that seven international investors have demonstrated interest in acquiring Pakistan’s national flag carrier and airports, which the country has put up for sale. In a bid to mitigate losses and bolster foreign exchange reserves amid a balance of payment crisis in its $350 billion economy, Islamabad plans to sell Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and outsource three of its airports. According to an adviser for the deal, the interested parties include investors from Germany, France, Netherlands, Qatar, UAE, Malaysia, and Turkiye, in addition to local groups. However, it was not specified whether these investors represent companies or governments. To facilitate the outsourcing process, Islamabad has enlisted the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation (IFC) as an advisor, with EY overseeing the airline deal. These efforts to accelerate the sales come as Pakistan prepares to seek another bailout from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) following the expiration of the current standby arrangement on April 11. #PIA #Pakistan #Investors #Airports

I am only with Sheikh Muhammad Bin Rashid Almaktoum and Sheikh Hammad(King Of Bahrian) and only with Arabs, and those Arabs ,who are not in diplomacy and Tantrums diplomacy. It can be done at 51/49 ratio in legal procedure and requirement of privatization. 51% ,is with Government of Pakistan. It will be good to privatize all commercial departments(Organization), in this legal way,and PTCL can be taken as a proper example and projection for prospects of viability and vitality.

At least we are happy to get rid of PIA 11,000 employees for 34 crafts. Who is going on strikes now? They all will be fired with golden handshake payments and this is all what they wanted. Thanks to the CEO who kept on ruining it for last 6 years with fake news of progress all the times.

A classic example of how a national carrier was deliberately destroyed to be sold off.
