Duty Manager Ramp at Menzies-RAS

The board of John Menzies PLC has announced that its shareholders have voted to support a recommended cash offer by Agility to acquire Menzies at a price of 608 pence a share, with 99% voting in favour of the transaction. If approved by relevant regulatory authorities, the transaction will result in the combination of National Aviation Services (NAS) and Menzies Aviation. This will create the world’s largest aviation services company by the number of countries it operates in, second largest in terms of airports served, and the third largest in terms of revenue. Together, the combined revenues of Menzies Aviation and NAS were in excess of $1.5 billion in 2021, and the combined group will have approximately 35,000 employees with a presence at 250 airports in 57 countries, handling more than 600,000 aircraft turns per year. The deal is expected to complete in Q3 2022. The full announcement by Menzies can be found here: https://lnkd.in/ekpDK4rP
