More colors can overwhelm operators, affecting efficiency. Let's keep it simple for better security screening! #XRayImaging #SecurityTechnology #ColorSimplicity 👉 4 colors for efficient decision-making 👉 Complexity hinders quick judgments 👉 Simplifying imaging for better security 👉 Operator training crucial for effective screening However, 6 colors are nice on kids dresses but in X-ray imaging, it is a bad experience. Globally, X-ray Operators are trained on 4 colors (including black as a color) with a clear understanding of the periodic table. Moreover, an operator has a very short time (3 seconds) to decide about an image and it is easy for him/ her to decide about the 3 colors (4 if black considered as color) ; But whenever there are 6 colors, it is more burdening for the operator to make a decision in a short span of time. Astrophysics and even in recent times Leidos is producing 6 colors of image technology. A Chinese brand Safe Eagle is also producing 7 color imaging technology. If the operator is replaced with AI then 6 or 7 colors are not bad, otherwise strongly not recommended.
