I was often there with a King Air, winter and summer, it was always an exciting trip

short runway.....???? ! Please have a look at LFLJ, 537m RWY length, upslope 18,6 degrees, it does not require a lot of wheel brake landing there. For a departure demonstration, there is a breathtaking presentation in one of the older James Bond films, take off is always downslope... ;-)

I went there many times with C510. Fun, but respect as well.
It is fun to fly into, especially in the winter!
Lovely Picture! Back in the good „LSGK old times“, my husband Gabriel landed frequently with a Bombardier Challenger 601, a Hawker 1000 (Google HB-JRV and HB-VOO + Saanen). In Summer 🌞 and winter ❄️ ! 🤟🏼Naturally, private flights only 😘😘😘

Years ago used to land on it while covered with snow with a Citation V it was lot’s of fun and challenging although even the 7X goes there...the surroundings are beautiful and a place to go visit !

A challenging airport for sure! But we have a commercial Pilatus PC12 under our Finish AOC based there in winter and we fly also there with our Falcon 50EX operated by ProJet in Germany.
