Manchester United's incoming CEO Omar Berrada will have a big task on his hands as he looks to rebuild the Reds back to where they once were.

For nearly a decade, Berrada has been working tirelessly to distance Manchester City from their nearest rivals and has been pretty successful in doing so. Dominance on the pitch has been built in the boardroom with some exceptional manoeuvring in the transfer windows.

At Old Trafford, the Reds' transfer approach has been a lot more miss than hit. United have been widely criticised for being slow to some of the best players in the world emerging.

They have also been targeted for where they have chosen to spend big money. Several household names have joined the Reds in the past decade but very few have had much of an impact on the field.

Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba are arguably the most damaging big signings which United have made since Sir Alex Ferguson retired. Meanwhile, even their free purchase of Cristiano Ronaldo ended in tears when Erik ten Hag clashed with the legendary forward.

It's no surprise then that INEOS were so keen to take a full lead on transfer strategy and the football side of the project in general. Sir Jim Ratcliffe's first senior appointment will be keen to have the same impact as he had in the blue half of Manchester.

To do this, MEN Sport believes Berrada will need to replicate six signings whom he managed to persuade to join City. Take a look below.
