Greybeard
To be honest, I have not gone through the same research that I did nine years ago when I did the first skinpacks for the Ju-88 (time flies...)
This time I just re-did them after correcting the template to take into account the modification on the 3D model.
And although I try to keep a lot of the material I dig into when I decide to do some skins for public release, I don't have the will nor the time to go through everything again.
Though I had a quick look at my documentation and I found two different profiles from the same skin "7A+KH" and it is said to be aircraft of 1.(F)121 and 1St(F)121.
So 9 years ago I must have read somewhere that 1St(F) stood for Fernaufklarungsstaffeln because otherwise I don't think I would have bothered writing the whole unit name in the name of the skin...
And you might be very right that it in fact stands for Fernaufklarungsgruppe.... I honestly do not remember
As for the second skin you mention "7A+GH" it is not a fantasy skin (although in facts it's for a D-1 model - recon plane, not an A-4, but at the time, as we did only have the A-4, I used it to stand for all... So not so historical :)...)
But as I am starting again some research on the Ju-88 to take care of the other versions of the plane, I have come across another camouflage description which is based on RLM 79 sprayed on top of the standart green splinter, while the information I had at the time was green RLM80 sprayed on sand RLM 79... I will have to investigate furthermore
I sometime do non historical skins, or generics, or based on profiles that I am not sure of, but then I usually say about it.
I would have preferred that you wrote your post nine years ago. It would have been easier for me to answer...
Sorry about that !
Hope you enjoy the skins anyway
I never use DGen and I don't know how it works but I will take your remark about the blanks in the name into account.
