The 6270, which used Nokia’s Series 40 software platform, was a slider phone with a two-megapixel camera. At the time, Nokia claimed it merged “state of the art photography capabilities and user-friendliness into an enjoyable imaging experience for consumers.” Additional features included an email client that was able to support attachments, and a built-in digital music player that supported MP3 and AAC formats. It had stereo speakers that supported”3D sound effects” that Nokia claimed provided “a brilliant sound experience that could be shared with others.” At launch the Nokia 6270 cost approximately €300 / $350.
