The Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to announce the upcoming "Hello Cello!" World Premiere event, a significant highlight of their 45th season.
This concert celebrates the excellence of classical music through a specially commissioned cello concerto, featuring a talented female composer and culminating with the iconic Dvorak Symphony No. 8.
The much-anticipated world premiere will feature Daniel Perttu's "Concerto for Cello and Orchestra," performed by the distinguished cellist Mark Kosower. Perttu's concerto, titled "The Guises of Love," draws inspiration from Dvorak's unrequited love, promising an evening of emotional depth and musical brilliance.
