Young Canada Works Accepting Funding Applications for 2024-2025
Are you looking for financial support to hire a Canadian youth for a short-term contract for your Canadian heritage organization? We are now accepting applications for the Young Canada Works 2024-25 funding cycle.
Young Canada Works provides funding to eligible Canadian heritage organizations under two streams to help cover the costs of wages and other expenses involved in the hiring of Canadian youth aged 30 or under for short-term work experiences. Positions for 2024-2025 can take place between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025.
Application deadline: Friday, January 19, 2024. Apply online through the Young Canada Works website.

Young Canada Works at Building Careers in Heritage
- Funds internships of 4-12 months for postsecondary graduates
- Maximum YCW-BCH contribution is $15,000 per internship created

Young Canada Works in Heritage Organizations
- Funds work terms of 6-16 weeks for current secondary and postsecondary students
- Maximum YCW-HO contribution is $10,000 per job created
