Normandie on its return trip to Le Havre Wednesday, Miss Harriette 916 Castle will be aboard the palatial French liner, en route to Paris, France, where she wfll spend a year studying art. Miss Welton, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. R.

Welton, Madison, was graduated from the art education department of the University of Wisconsin. This spring she received a scholarship from the New York School of Fine and Applied Arts which provides for a year's study at Parson's studio In Paris, and it is to start work on this scholarship that Miss Welton goes to Paris this week. The bride, who was unattended, was attractive in a simple floor-length gown of white mousseline de soie. She carried a colonial bouquet of Johanna Hill roses. After a reception held immediately following the ceremony at the Bartlett home, Mr. Fritz and his bride left on a short trip. They will be at home to their friends after Sept 1 at 4460 N.

Oakland ave. In Milwaukee, where Mr. Fritz is employed by the Globe Union co. The bride was graduated in 1933 from the University of Wisconsin where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. Mr.

Fritz received his BA. degree from Albion college in Michigan and his BS. degree from the University of Wisconsin in February of 1933. He is a member of Eta Kappa No. Tau Beta Pi and Tau Kappa Epsilon.

Final Story Book Party Will Take Place on Aug. 24 "Uncle Tom's Cabin" furnishes the background of the last party in the Maple Bluff Golf club series scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 24. 22 at Lauderdale Lake The Joint Committee on Education in Wisconsin will meet Thursday, Aug. 22, at the home of Mrs. Henry C. Meigs, Lauderdale lake. Mrs.

Meigs, who succeeds Mrs. Curtis Jacobs. Oconomowoc, as chairman, has called this first meeting to formulate plans to carry important educational information to every section of the state during the coming year. and Mrs. Emmet R. Bentley, 103 Monona and William Jasper Rowe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph D.

Rowe, Burlington, Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Trousdale Methodist church. Preceding the bride to the gladioli-adorned altar were a matron of honor, a maid of honor, a lower girl and a ring bearer. As the "Lohenrgin" wed-din processional was played, the bridal party started its slow march down the aisle to the front of the church. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a fitted gown of white lace over white satin, its high neckline accented by a spray of orange blossoms at the shoulder. Her full length veil of bridal illusion, with its wide band of lace, fell from a tiny cap encircled with seed pearl blossoms over the puffed sleeves of her gown.

The sleeves, which were fitted from the elbow to the wrist, ended in points over the handS. She carried a shower bouquet of Johanna Hill roses and swansonia. An arm bouquet of deep rose gladioli contrasted with blue flowers was carried by the matron of honor, Mrs. William Rabinovitz. A blue hat and other accessories were worn becomingly with her rose crepe gown.

Miss Norma Gronseth, the maid of honor, wore a billowing dress of orchid embroidered organdy with white accessories. Virginia Bentley, the flower girl, who was attired in a floor-length frock of yellow organdy, carried a basket of rose petals. Pulver as chairman, is anticipating a busy year. Two meetings will be held each month, one devoted to programs, play-reading, and one devoted to creative work. The first meeting in the fall is to be a garden party at the home of Mrs. th. marriage vows inursaay rveiiins at 7 clock.

The bride, who is the daughter of Mrs. Edna Leland, Madison, wore a simply tailored rown of ice-blue satin. Gardenia at the neckline, a jacket with full sleeves, and a graceful floor-length skirt, were features of the dress. Viola M. Kundert, Madi-on, as maid of honor, wore apricot mousseline de soie, fashioned with short sleeves and a full skirt.

Her flowers were a corsage of Johanna Hill roses and delphinium. Edward S. Hansen was the best man. After a short trip Mr. Fauerbach and his bride will be at home at 1215 Elizabeth st.

She was graduated from the Methodist hospital nursing school. Mr. Fauerbach is associated in business with the Fauerbach Brewing co. Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Fauerbach was feted at a number of informal affairs.

Becker, 606 E. Mifflin st, became the bride of John A. Roller, 1014 Drake st. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

P. K. Becker, Madison, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Roller, Sun Prairie.

The Rev. John Grellinger officiated. A matron of honor and bridesmaid preceded the bride to the altar. Her sister, Mrs. Herman Thomas, as matron of honor, wore pink mousseline de soie, and Miss Lucy Roller, a sister of the bridegroom, as bridesmaid was gowned in pale yellow mousseline de soie.

Both wore hats to match their frocks and carried colonial bouquets. The bride's wedding gown was of traditional white. Over its soft folds of mousseline de soie. a filmy veil of tulle, trimmed with point lace, fell from a tiny cap. She carried a white prayer book and lilies -of-the-valley.

Mr. Roller had as his best man his twin brother, Fred A. Roller. James Becker, a brother cf the bride, was groomsman, and Robert Tuschen and Conrad Belda were ushers. A breakfast was served to 35 guests at the home of the bridegroom's parents.

After a trip in northern Wisconsin and Canada, Mr. Roller and his bride will return to Madison where they will live at 408 N. Carroll st. She was graduated from the university in 1932. Mr.

Roller will resume his work at the university this fall. BradySchwoegler Announcement is made of the approaching marriage of Miss Alice Genevieve Brady, 419 W. Doty st, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John P.

Henika is the chairman. The third Wednesday of each month will be devoted to creative work. This group will write and produce a three-act play. Mrs. Ar thur Vinje is chairman of this group and is assisted by Mmes.

,7 Bride of A. E. Gilbert Home Is Scene of Double Wedding on Aug. 15 On Thursday, Aug. 15, a double wedding took place at the farm homestead of Mr.

and Mrs. A. E. Gilbert, McFarland, when their son, Edward, was married to Miss Sadie F. Lake, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Roland R. Lake, Madison, and their daughter. Miss Lillian Gilbert, became the bride of Marcus J. Vinje, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Martin Vinje, McFarland. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. J. W.
