Pug Prancing Through Airport on His Way Home for Christmas Is a Total Vibe

There's no place like home with your friends and family for the holidays, and the only ones who enjoy quality time together more than people are pets.

One little black pug named Kuma couldn't wait to get home. Like many, Kuma had to go through the headache of holiday travel at the airport, but unlike many people, he had a most positive outlook.

The small dog packed a whole lot of holiday spirit with his reindeer antlers and a festive blue sweater that he rocked through the airport, where he was seen prancing around. A few employees stopped and took photos with Kuma, which one would assume made their entire day. How could it not?

The December 15 Instagram video brought in more than 2.6 million views and nearly 195,000 likes.

Watching this video without being put in the Christmas spirit is impossible. As stressful as traveling during this time can be, Kuma reminds everyone to think positively and remember that you'll be celebrating with the family soon enough. A smile wouldn't hurt either!

"How is everyone so calm while this precious thing prances around the airport? I could never contain myself. There would be shouting, squealing and whatnot," commented a viewer.

Another added: "Oh I would grab that pug up and plant a thousand kisses!"

Pet Holiday Safety Tips

The holiday season can be a busy time, with people coming in and out of the house, which is why it's important to prepare your pets to ensure they are safe. The Humane Society of the United States lists several things to be aware of to keep the joyous spirit alive and well.

For starters, you'll want to inform your visitors that you have a pet, if they do not know already. Then, be sure your pets have enough toys to keep them occupied as the party might be focused on talking with each other, eating, or playing games. Providing a safe space or room for your pet to relax and unwind would be beneficial.

Owners should also be cautious when it comes to the holiday decorations. The plants and holiday greenery can be toxic to animals. And if your pet is a chewer, be sure to keep the fire log starters, lights, and ornaments out of their reach.

And finally, skip the table foods for your pets. Avoid bones, candy, chives, garlic, grapes, citrus, raw or undercooked eggs and fish, nuts, and onions.
