XV254 A close up of that search light. It generates the same power as 13 million candles!, can light an oil tanker up at 1.5 miles and can only be used for 90 seconds at a time of it melts the plastic cover! I doubt the Navy has anything quite as special, Fly RAF! (more of XV254)

XV254 This picture was taken at 28,000ft from the bulbed window onboard this Nimrod aircraft. As you can probably see, the window has some scratches on it but I thought this shot was so unusual I just had to put it on! You can clearly see the two RR Spey engines and the large radar on the tail! (more of XV254)
