On 14 July 2020, Bombardier DHC-8-402Q Dash 8, 5Y-VVU of Bluebird Aviation, crashed on landing at Beledweyne Airport, Somalia. The aircraft lost its radome, landing gear and its wing appears to have broken away from the fuselage. Fortunately the crew of the cargo flight escaped before the resulting fire destroyed the aircraft.
