The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Mining and ProCórdoba Agency through Cordobra Business Center and Córdoba Exporters Center, invite you to the talk “Cómo vender a Brasil: Programa de Sustitución Competitiva de Importaciones” (How to sell to Brazil: Competitive Substitution of Imports Program).
The lecture will be delivered by Félix Baes Baptista de Faria, Chief of the Division of Commercial Intelligence in the General Undersecretaryship of Commercial Promotion and Investments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil.
The event will be held in the Net Point room, at Howard Johnson Hotel & Suites La Cañada, (Figueroa Alcorta 20), on Monday 11, November from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Competitive Substitution of Imports Program mainly consists of favoring the substitution of imports coming from the United States, Asia and Europe for products from South American countries.
With this program, Brazil looks to strengthen trade in the region, reducing transport and logistics costs and achieving more competitive prices.
Besides, it expects to reinforce the economic and political integration of the region. In order to achieve the export of products coming from South America, the PSCI program works in two important aspects: the spreading of information about the way to export to Brazil and the stimulus to the region’s trade.
The general objective of this event is to facilitate trade between Córdoba and Brazil. To that end, the content of the PSCI program, the information about tools available, and through which exports to Brazil are made, will be explained in detail.
The main topics that will be dealt with are the analysis of products of Córdoba with the potential to be exported to Brazil, the analysis of the exportable offer of Córdoba and the importing sectors of Brazil with the greatest potential.
In addition, the information tools of Foreign Trade of Brazil and the organizations and regulations of Brazil that intervene in Foreign Trade will be introduced.
