All acft operators in commercial transportation and of CAT B ACFT and higher shall satisfy the
requirements for crew qualification in REF EASA AMC1 ORO.FC.105 for apt CAT C.
All operations of CAT B ACFT and higher shall be with modern turboprop ACFT.
All approaches by CAT B ACFT and higher shall be performed as steep approaches.
Acft operators without steep apch approval shall describe how the flight crew shall use the visual aids
(visual apch guidance system and rwy markings) (applies to CAT A ACFT).
The acft operator shall document fulfilment of the requirements above the CAA Norway at least 14
days prior to commencing operations. CAA Norway will, after evaluating the documentation and
finding it adequate, issue a letter of compliance. A copy of this letter has to be carried by the crew
and presented to local airport authorities or representatives of CAA Norway on request.
