PLATFORM MOVEMENT AND PARKING RULES


1. PLATFORM MOVEMENT
1.1. The movement shall not be initiated from a position on a platform without the authorization of
the Control Tower.
1.2. In all cases, the taxiing axis lines and entrances to the parking stands must be followed with
the nose wheel and at a normalized reduced speed, in order to preserve the adequate separation
margin between aircraft.

3. ENTRANCES
3.1 Commercial Apron:
The entrance to position can be made using own power of the aircraft under the assistance of
a main Marshall and in accordance with the restrictions indicated in the table.
3.2. Remote Apron:
Entry to all positions may be made using the aircraft power plant in all cases. If parking stand 19
is free and the Twr directs, aircraft may enter parking stands 9 thru 18 from Twy B. The air
operator must take additional precautions during the turning maneuver to enter the position
maintaining separation from the other parked aircraft.
4. DEPARTURES
4.1. Before leaving any of the positions, the corresponding authorization from the Control Tower
must be obtained.
4.2. Commercial Apron:
4.2.1 Departures from positions 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 shall be carried out by push-back to the
taxiing axis on the platform, with the assistance of the Marshall.
4.2.2 Exits from positions 1, 2, 7A, 8A and 8B may be carried out in autonomous way.
4.2.3 The exit of all positions will be carried out, without exception, under assistance of
the Marshall, and according to the restrictions indicated in the Parking Table.
4.3. Remote Apron:
4.3.1. Aircraft departures will be made using the aircraft power in all cases.
4.3.2. Aircraft from positions 9 to 18 will leave the apron remote by Twy A, unless the
position 19 is free, in which case they may use the Twy B if the Tower directed it.
5. EXCEPTIONS
5.1. When the Airport Operator considers it appropriate, after a risk analysis, notification
to the ATS and authorization by the Airport Headquaters, other procedures that differ from those
regulated herein may be implemented/allowed/coordinated.
6. PRECAUTIONS
6.1. When starting the taxiing maneuver, the movement of vehicles and people on the Apron and
its surroundings must be carefully observed.
6.2. It is recalled that aircraft have circulation priority with respect to vehicle and pedestrian
traffic, for which reason those responsible for Organizations, the Airport Administrator and
Companies that provide services in the Operating Platform, must adopt the necessary measures to
guarantee that their personnel are fully aware of these regulations and security measures
applicable during their movement on the Platform.
