Description: Cheaper and not as highly regarded as the White Pomfret, it has a bright white meat with fine fibers that is a little chewy and mildly oily. It has a distinct flavor that you need to try to appreciate.

Fun Facts: Because of the low price of these fish, they are considered of lower class than their white or silver counterparts. They seem to taste exactly the same as far as I can tell.
