1. Working in My Office
This is the Chinese New Year’s day in 2009. I was with a colleague in
our bank office; she worked with me for more than 10 years. We were
all wearing traditional Chinese clothing to celebrate the holiday. We
took this photo also to remember I received the honor of Customer
Service Award for outstanding performance in the year of 2008 in my
branch.
2. Immigrating
I took this photo at
the airport in Beijing
in July 2009. It was
the plane that
brought me and my
family to Canada as
new immigrants. I
leaved my parents
and friends, and will
begin my new life. It is
the significance
turning point for me.
I believed that I would
be happy and
successful in Canada.
3. First Job
This is the logo of Akropolis Phyllo Product Company where I had my
first job in Canada. It is a Greek food production company. I worked
as a casher for sold products and packaged food products. I worked
there for one year but I had to leave since it was moving its location.
I enjoyed working there and had my first working experience in
Canada.
4. Volunteer
I assisted teachers in
organizing students at
Dunlace Public school at
trips in spring 2011 as a
volunteer. We were all
very happy on that day.
When I talked with these
students I was able to
practice my English
speaking skills. After we
came back from the trip, I
took a photo of my son in
front of the school to
remember the event.
5. Studying in Centennial
College
I was studying in my
class at Centennial
College with my
classmate on Friday
November 16. We will
graduate in the 2013.
We were researching
information about
accounting-related jobs.
My classmate has a lot
of local working
experience, so I often
ask her for some related
questions.
