Ski Austria Rebrands

The Austrian Ski Association presented the eagerly awaited new Ski Austria design. 250 guests enjoyed an atmospheric evening, during which the local World Cup heroes were also duly celebrated.

In the impressive "Reactor" in Vienna, around 4:00 p.m., the time had finally come: As part of an exciting brand launch, the Austrian Ski Association presented the new Ski Austria logo and the associated values ​​and goals that the association will be dedicated to the outside world in the future want to wear.

Numerous athletes, partners, sponsors, officials as well as media representatives and employees listened intently to the statements by the association’s leadership, who presented the new, value-based identity of the Ski Austria brand.

With great applause, ÖSV President Roswitha Stadlober, ÖSV General Secretary Christian Scherer and Christiane Gasser, Head of Marketing & Communication, gave a detailed insight into the well thought-out concept, the values ​​and the mission of the new brand, which has a modern, contemporary and innovative appearance allowed outside. The new "Acon" (note: the name is made up of the "A" for Austria and the word "Icon") will also adorn the racing suits of the local winter sports stars, who were enthusiastic about the new logo and who were also able to identify with the central, contrasting values ​​of #skicrazy/#snowboardcrazy and professional straight away.

Medal celebration rounds off a successful evening

After the brand launch, the successful athletes were once again the focus of events. As part of a worthy medal celebration, which was also broadcast live by ORF in the living rooms of the fans, the numerous medal winners in all disciplines were duly celebrated and the Ski Austria winter sports stars were congratulated for their fantastic achievements in this World Cup winter. The successful evening ended with a cozy get-together, which created a positive spirit of optimism among all those involved, even after the end of a long and intensive season, and already made them look forward to the next World Cup season.
