(SPOT.ph) When something as iconic as Pangako Sa 'Yo gets a modern-day treatment, we can't help but wonder how the original cast members feel about the remake. Luckily, there's Jericho Rosales to fill that void. (We're still waiting for your thoughts on the series, Kristine...and everyone else, really.)
He said he caught parts of the pilot and said he felt "nostalgic" while watching. "I feel proud na 'yung show namin naging isang remake. Classic siya ngayon na naging remake. I'm very, very happy for the two—sina Daniel [Padilla] and Kathryn [Bernardo], and the entire cast," he said.
Jericho also had advice for Daniel, who earlier said he felt pressure to live up to the original series and character. "I always say, you make a lousy them, you make a great you. And Daniel is an original," he said. "I don't think they should focus on the pressure, if they are. Lahat kami, proud kami sa kanila, because they're taking on a great and exciting project."
