Aer Lingus hiring cabin crew ahead of busy summer season – and job comes with amazing perks including free travel

AER Lingus is looking for new cabin crew staff ahead of the busy summer season - and they're offering some amazing perks.

Free flights are just one of the upsides of the gig, which will be based in Dublin Airport.

As part of the recruitment drive, successful candidates will be given full cabin crew training provided at Aer Lingus' Training Academy Dublin Base.

And once you're ready to fly, the four-star Irish airline will offer "very competitive terms and conditions, an attractive remuneration package, travel benefits and more".

The new hires will operate Aer Lingus' busy transatlantic and short-haul flights in their Airbus A320 CEO, A321 NEO as well as the A330 aircraft.

Potential earnings vary between €2,000 and 2,800 in monthly take home pay. However, the airline also offers an attractive benefits package.

These include handy perks like reduced membership at the ALSAA sports club and access to the Loop shopping at Dublin Airport.

They also offer an Employee Assistance Progam, Cycle to Work scheme and Tax Saver Scheme.

In addition, Aer Lingus cabin crew can avail of subsidised dry cleaners, airport discounts, and extensive Learning and Development support.

However, the best one is without doubt the flight benefits, which improve the longer you stay at the company.

For the first six months on the job, new staff are entitled to one stand by ticket per month.

After this point, you have access to unlimited stand by tickets and one positive tickets.

And better yet, you can also include qualified relatives.

One you hit the year mark, staff are treated to CARA, or family and friends passes, for four of your favourite people.

Aer Lingus also have agreements with other airlines and hotels, so you''be taken care of wherever you go.

Applicants must be 18 years of age and be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland.

The airline are also looking for staff with 12 months customer service or sales experience and be able to complete a height and reach assessment.

Your passport must also be valid and allow for unrestricted worldwide travel, and you must be able to apply for entry visas required for the role.

A five year background check and two verifiable references are also part of the application process.

And in a controversial move from the Irish flyers, another essential criteria is "no tattoos/piercing visible when in Aer Lingus uniform".
