Aerosoft Releases Alta Airport for X-Plane 11

Published by Aerosoft and developed by Jo Erlend Sund, Simen Nygaard, and Stairport Sceneries, Alta Airport (ENAT) has been released for X-Plane 11. ENAT is an airport located in Alta, Norway and features a singular runway 7395 feet in length.

The developers have included multiple features in their rendition of this airport to recreate it as realistically as possible. According to the developers, they’ve included “high-detailed models and textures that were optimized for excellent visuals with great performance. Custom flag animations, runway light and night time effects” to recreate this airport as best as possible.

ENAT is located in quite a snowy region, and that’s been compensated for in this scenery with the addition of 3D snow. Which, according to the developer with their custom terrain mesh, will “provide an impressive atmosphere especially at winter.”

An extensive feature list was also provided, highlighting all the features and work gone into the making of ENAT. Some of the most exciting features include high-resolution photo scenery, seasons, realistic HDR night lighting, and more. The full feature list is visible below.
