FSimStudios Releases Halifax Stanfield International Airport (CYHZ) for MSFS

On Monday, FSimStudios released its latest product Halifax Stanfield International Airport (CYHZ) for Microsoft Flight Simulator to early adapters. The scenery, developed in partnership with Airfield Canada, brings to the simulator “the most up-to-date and detailed representation” of the airport with high-quality textures, realistic models, among others.

According to the product’s store page, the airport features detailed terminal buildings with carefully crafted interiors, PBR textures for most surfaces, and accurate aerial photos for the airport and its surroundings.

Halifax Stanfield Airport is the main airport for Nova Scotia. The eighth busiest passenger airport, it handled a total of 4,316,079 passengers in 2018 and 84,045 aircraft movements in 2017.

Currently, the scenery can only be purchased on the FSimStudios webstore for $19.50 USD. However, the developers have indicated that the product will become available for purchase on “Orbx, SimMakret, and other stores …… later this week”. Owners of the MSFS edition will receive a discount if they decide to buy the P3D version that will be released later this year.
