Windsock Simulations Unveils Barcelona Airport (LEBL) as their Next Project

It has been confirmed through a Facebook post that Barcelona Airport is Windsock Simulations' next project.

The announcement comes just one week after the developer, specialising in ESP platform airport conversions to X-Plane, released Ibiza XP, spanning the two islands of Ibiza and Formentera.

"Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen! We would like to announce our next project...which as most of you have already Guessed, it is Barcelona!" said Windsock Simulations in the Facebook page.

"Here are a few work in progress shots, there is a LOT of work to do yet, so it's going to be a while, but we wanted to confirm the rumors! Stay Safe everyone!"

The airport, officially named Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport, is the second and sixth largest airport by passenger numbers in Spain and Europe, respectively.

The crisscrossings of runways and taxiways lead to two terminals; terminal 1 is the fifth largest in the world when measured by floor space, and serves a large variety of airlines from all around the world.

Vueling makes up for almost half of the total passenger volume, with Madrid-Barajas the top destination for travellers.
