SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. — Air Force Gen. Jacqueline Van Ovost, commander of U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), and Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Brian Kruzelnick, USTRANSCOM command senior enlisted leader, announced the command's 2023 annual award winners on March 28.
During her remarks, Van Ovost highlighted the team’s consistent and incredible work throughout 2023, noting that the past year was particularly “eventful.”
“’Together, we deliver,’ has never resounded more than what we saw and experienced together in 2023,” the general said. It took hard work, dedication, and professionalism to deliver amazing results, and “I look back with pride on what this team has done.”
From providing Ukraine with continued aid and delivering support to the Middle East, Kruzelnick noted that these highlights were only the tip of the iceberg.
“Every room we walk into and every meeting we have, people sing your highest praise,” Kruzelnick said. “You have a reputation for winning, and we appreciate everything you do.”
