Not real. Originals are a softer "camel hair" material. Plenty of them in the proper category here

Good advice - use the forum to look up items you need to compare or verify. To help you a little and add this as reference to this post, here is a photo of an original from my collection. The material and lettering differences should be readily apparent. Note this example is removed from a uniform and thus shorter than an unissued example. NH
