Antique Lilli Roman Baitz Edna German Doll Extremely Rare Extremely Nice!!

This is a Lillian & Roman Baitz doll that was made somewhere from 1909 - 1938 although I believe it to be on the earlier end. She is simply remarkable. I hate to even let her go because I know that I will never have the opportunity to find another like her again. Her arms are metal and have corks in the area of the elbow to which wire is attached to attach them to the body. She is approximately 15.5 inches tall when standing. The wire base measures approx. 7.25 inches across. The wire base is also extremely well done with very nice "feet" around the bottom for stability. The bottom of her body appears to sit on a cork base before the wire waist balloons out to fill out the skirt. She is wonderfully painted in the face with great detail to the eye, teeth and lips and shading under the eyes. She is wearing a cross necklace as well. As in the picture, the words Baitz and Edna is inscribed in the back. Below Edna, there is another inscription that is very difficult to make out but I believe it might be Tuni or Toni. Pictures do not even do her justice. She is in wonderful condition with the only exception of some fading on her dress but in my opinion, it adds to the doll and it's character. She comes from a non-smoking, odor free home. The only only reason I am letting her go is to raise funds to meet expenses. This will be one that read more
