Gallen Lo enjoys playing a villain
12 Mar – Hong Kong actor Gallen Lo recently admitted that he is happy to play an antagonistic role in "Infernal Affairs", as it has been a while since he got to play such a role in a Hong Kong drama.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor whose last villainous role was in the 1996 drama, "Cold Blood Warm Heart", shared that it was exciting playing the role of an ambitious triad deputy leader in the new drama.
"I like playing villains. You can do a lot of things with the role," he said.
Gallen also added that he enjoyed the fact that he doesn't have to shape up as his character is always wearing black in the drama.
On the other hand, when asked whether he has plans to return to TVB, the actor admitted that he missed the old days of working in the company, but that he doesn't know a lot of the new stars nowadays.
"I rarely watch those new TVB dramas since I am working in Beijing," he said.
