RM2BW3MM2–German woman pilot demonstrates new sea glider . A new type of sea glider was demonstrated by Miss Reitach , a German woman pilot on the Bodensea . The demonstration was watched by experts of the German Sail plane investigation institute . Hanna Reitsch was towed into the air and remained aloft for 30 minutes , after which she made a perfect ' landing ' on the water . The craft has a wing span of 55 feet .
